OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
Fate has a funny way of weaving stories together. We've crossed paths for years, sharing the same circles and even the same house—just not at the same time! I actually bought my very first home from him, which is pretty wild when you think about it. Neither of us ever imagined our lives intertwining the way they have, but somehow, the universe had other plans. And now, here we are, together and absolutely thrilled about it.
The proposal
May 24, 2024, is a day I’ll never forget—it's when Chad proposed to me, though it didn’t quite go according to his plan. We were in Des Moines for the George Strait concert, and he originally thought about popping the question there, but the idea of metal detectors made him second-guess it. So, he shifted gears and planned a fancy proposal at Prairie Meadows on Friday night during a candle lit dinner. But, as luck would have it, that plan fell through too when he changed his pants before we left the hotel and accidentally left the ring in the other pair! So, in the end, the proposal happened right there in our hotel room—perfectly imperfect and completely memorable.
Fast forward to
Our lives have beautifully intertwined, not just between us but with all four of our boys too. Life is a whirlwind of activity, with the kids and even the animals pulling us in every direction. It’s a wild ride, but honestly, we wouldn’t change a single moment of it.
